Are these great colors or what? I bought this strand of colorful Darice beads at Joann's over the weekend with my gift card because the colors really spoke to me! They are bright, fun AND diverse! They contrast with each other in a very interesting way. The description on the tag reads, "14x8mm Rectangle Twist Opaque Mix".Once I got these home and was handling everything and figuring out a place to put things, I realized, they could probably be paired up in a fun way with the colorful soft flex Trio wire I won recently...hmm, if only they were egg shapes!
I might have to make something tonight because I could really use some extra cheer this time of year. It has been a bit dark and dreary lately, although the sky on the way to work this morning was a beautiful and soft combination of light blue and light pink...like cotton candy.

In my weird brain the beads are sorta egg shaped. Enjoy!
For some odd reason, I have fallen in love with the black one near the blue one by the knot.
Oh, they look like candy! Here in Germany we have a kind of sweet foam eggs candy and the beads look like them. Great colors! And congrats on the Trio win!

I like odd-shaped beads. The red one has captured my eye completely, but they are all nice. I'm thinking a possible bracelet/earring combination here. :D
