Pick-a-Side Pendant

Today's bead is a 52mm Darice "snail" pendant. I like the spiral quality of this piece, but when I turned it over, I ended up liking the back side even better than the front!

It does not appear intentionally reversible, but the bright silver back-side makes me want to embellish it.

I was thinking about hanging a couple of tiny loose silver chains with bright sparkly crystals from the bail. Sort of like jewelry for your jewelry! :)

I also think it would make a great back-drop for some twisted wire sculptures in several different colors such as copper and bronze.

Either some free-hand abstract wire designs or some spirally wig-jiggy pieces.

What do you think???

Hi Lisa...thank you for swinging by my blog and leaving your sweet comment! I am trying to get over being so timid. Don't know what got into me to do a video! I'm thinking that maybe it was a menopausal moment! :)

What a neat pendant! Isn't it funny when the back side turns your crank more than the front. I like both you ideas and would love to see what you make with it.

I really like that cuff from the post below too...how cool! ~Lisa

Maybe you should do a necklace, so you can wear the pendant reversible. I like both sides. Maybe a kind of ethnic necklace? Stone and wood beads?

This is such a great pendant! Your idea of embellishing it sounds fantastic. It will create a one of a kind piece.

look at www.pickbay.com you can change your work of art EVERY DAY or more by changing out the guitar pick! You can make your own guitar pick, or creat a guitar pick that is a miniature work of art. This guitar pick holder pendant is like a picture frame for guitar picks. It is also the coolest necklace ever....you can get with silver, rosary type of cord to adorn the pendant from. Also would be really fun item to hang from a custom beaded necklace!
