So, when I see them in real life, I can feel my happiness meter jump and the corners of my mouth turn up!
Very similar to what happens when I see a cute puppy or a yummy bakery cake!
I have a favorite "collection" which I have mentioned here before, but I wanted to get some input from all of you because I think it's time for me to move on to a new color palette.
That's where all of you come in! I'm looking to be influenced or swayed by YOUR favorite collection.
The person with the most creative or influential comment will be selected as the winner of this month's swarovski crystal giveaway!
By the way, it's the Swarovski 6680 20mm Cosmic Pendant Crystal Red Magma!

Let Mother Nature be your guide. The change in seasons is closing in, and with it a need for fresh, crisp shades of fall - peridot, crystal copper, red magma and more. The rainbow of Swarovski possibilities is endless.....
I love the jewel tones, the richer the bette!
So sparkly and pretty!
I am like you in that I always have a 'magpie' moment when it comes to Swarovski crystals. I love them. I like to source the more unusual stones / colours and use them as the starting point for a design. Swarovski's really are the jewels of the beading world. I particularly like the flat back cabochoun stones to incorporate into my bead embroidery pieces.
I just bought a vintage lot of brass jewelry components that have spots to glue in stones. Now I am drooling over vintage Swarovski glue-in crystals in those gorgeous vibrant vintage colors. I think I'm going to need some more glue!
My "must have on hand " are the Swarovski ab colors .
Especially Peridot ab, Fuchsia ab,Light Siam ab and Topaz ab .
They have an amazing chameleon like quality !
They go with things you wouldn't imagine.
Just hold some up to your other components.
You'll see !!!
For example, would you pick Peridot to match turquoise or verdigris copper??? No...well,Peridot AB looks great with both !!!
Seriously it really does !!!
m.e. :)
I live in Colorado and make things influenced by my surroundings, so I use a lot of woodland and forest colors like the copper, topaz and a lot of the greens, especially olivine. I also love the new fern green color. I guess living in a place called Evergreen, it is pretty easy to guess what my palette looks like!
I'm picturing something more like a dark blue and gray scheme. It will be perfect for the with blue jeans or something a little classier during Autumn events. And then it can be a color combo that is useful right through the holiday season.
Hi,my favorit colours are oliv-colours!! But,I realy felt into love with sunAB, this wonderful blinkydinky! I never use yellow in my beadwork, very seldom orange, mainly in autumn. But when I saw sunAB in my friends collection, I had to have 1 of it, and I had to order them, ..they were off,...could you imagine, I tried hard to get some, not easy, you will see,... I didn't used them till now, just look at them, and love them.
I like a lot new Swarovski brand "Crystallized", especially in crystallized fabrics. I've recently saw a picture of Christian Dior gown with 6,000 Swarovski crystals. Weight 33 pounds!!!!!!!! Posted this picture on my blog :-)
