Bracelet Request

Today a coworker mentioned this bracelet I made last fall. She
admired it anytime she saw me wearing it. I need to get it back out tonight so I can put it on her desk when she least expects it.

I do enjoy giving pieces of jewelry that I made for myself if and when people I know admire something that much.

I hope that doesn't seem strange to get a "used" piece of jewelry, but I so enjoy it passing things along! :)

I'd love to hear your stories of sharing jewelry pieces with admirers.

I "test drive" many of my pieces before giving or even selling them. Then I know they stay on, don't have any stray wires or strings, and that it's going to wear as intended.
I know your friend will love it, and think of you every time she does...

Just the other day, I wore a pair of earrings, my daughter admired them and I took them out of my ears and they were hers. I knew I would not remember to make her a pair.

I think that makes the gift even more special as your friend knows it was yours and that you liked it and wore it often. This gives the gift meaning as it was indeed given with heartfelt feelings.

BTW - the bracelet is gorgeous and I love the colors you chose.

LOL I do that all the time, if someone says oh I like it, I take it off and give it to them! LOL

I'm the same way. I LOVE giving something I've made to someone who will love it. I have WAY too much jewelry I've made in my "personal" stash so I like to give it to someone who will love it. :) I'm sure she'll go nuts!
