Roadside Antique

Today's bead looks like something you'd find at a roadside antique shop. This was one of the beads in an eclectic (and inexpensive) bead mix from the Pink Flamingo bead shop in Powell, Ohio. I have never seen anything like this. It makes me think of chenille bedspreads, white bedside tables and rusty old watering cans. It's interesting how beads, like art, movies and music can sometimes take you somewhere else.

This would be a lot of fun in a single strand bracelet with some other fun chunky beads in pastels and whites. A little metal on the faux "rusty" side, would make it unique and interesting!

Have a great day!
