Featured Designer: Syndee Holt

Happy Friday everyone! It's always a great day when I get to share a wonderful designer with you and today is extra special!

I had the pleasure of meeting the multi-talented Syndee Holt in Cleveland a few weeks ago while we were both on deck to tape a segment for the PBS show Beads, Baubles and Jewels! We got to hang out, admire each other's work and even have dinner together.

I learned so much from Syndee who is a freelance writer for quite a few magazines including, Belle Armoire, Polymer Cafe, Step by Step Wire, Step by Step Beads and Somerset Gallery. Syndee is also the author of, "Polymer clay for the first time".

Most importantly, I learned I want to be just like her when I grow up! She allows all her talents and interests to shine brightly whether it's creating with polymer clay, jewelry making, writing or photography.

As a representative, designer and blogger for the Polyform company, Syndee creates gorgeous pieces using Sculpey clay that are used for advertising and demonstrating those products! Wow, pretty amazing considering these are sidelines in addition to a full time job! Such an impressive role model!

Syndee, you are amazing! I'm so glad we had a chance to spend time together. It was a lot of fun getting to know you!

I've always wanted to try polymer clay. Looks like such a creative medium to work with, but it also looks like it would take talent, which Syndee obviously has in great abundance. :)

It is very good and desirable to have these exchange of thoughts between the creators to make sure that they grow mutually exchanging ideas.Very cool designs.
