This ring was inspired by Lillian Chen's design style. She creates gorgeous "sculptured" pieces out of various swarovski crystal elements.
I actually had a different plan for building this design, but I couldn't make it work as it did in my head, so back to the drawing board. I recently pulled a bunch of swarovski crystals together from my collection which were scattered in various places. I was surprised I had some of these, they are so cool!
I used two green swarovski crystal butterflies, a swarovski clear ab margarita sew-on and a clear crystal headpin attached to a gold toned ring base. I cut the 3 loops off the ring and using the satin beadalon wire I selected from R&T's catalog, wired the butterflies on and knotted them quite a few times before trimming the ends.

Awesome design! Just stunning.
Really cool ring -- I love how you were able to see this structure in the crystal beads you had. Like a sculptor seeing the form inside the marble!

really pretty! I have no idea how you kept everything straight and in place while working. It looks rather complicated. Good work.
