This Week's Project & Bead Blogger FUN!!

Today's post is a combination of "This week's project" and "Bead Blogger Fun"!

I've been thinking of many ideas for using the fabulous handmade beads that were sent to me by Mikki of the Beaded Carpet. Here is the original post from a week or so ago.

It just so happened that the same day I received the surprise beads from Mikki, I also received a HUGE spool of white hemp cord. When I saw them sitting next to each other, I started thinking I'd like to use these things together.

I can't wait to wear this somewhere and I have sort of a rhetorical question that I just couldn't help but ask...WHY DOES JEWELRY MAKING HAVE TO BE SO MESSY!?? Maybe it isn't and it is actually me....?

Have a wonderful week everyone!! Below are some fun filled links to kick off the new week!! Take care!

The answer to your rhetorical question is: jewelry making (like any other craft) HAS to be messy, because the mess is the source of creativity. At least for me it is.

It's not you--I'm messy when I craft--whether it be beading or cooking. I think the messiness is just the creativity leaking out everywhere. :D
