Crackle Bead = Sparkle!

When I looked at these beads, the word "sparkle" came to mind. What I meant to think was "crackle", but what kept coming out was "sparkle".

These crackle beads are so great and will be a perfect complement to any white beads or crystals. They really look like tiny crystal balls!!

AND, they are VERY sparkly, almost like they have glitter inside!!

I love the idea that the crackle is made just as it happens with ice cubes. They are taken from the molten glass stage into a cold bath which makes the glass crack. Simple concept, who knew! Oh, I just had another design thought.

How about taking colorful softflex wire and creating a multicolor band with all clear crackle beads!!

I hope you are having a great week so far!!

I adore crackle beads. Including just a few here and there can give a design just a bit of unexpected twinkle.

I love crackled glass beads! The other day I found some multicolored cracked glass beads and loved them. they reminded me so much of marshmallows I made a colored necklace named Craced Marshmallow.

I've been holding on to a strand of glass crackle beads since November! I can't, for the life of me, figure out what to make out of them. But I just had to have the sparkle. I remember walking around Walmart (yes, I found them at WALMART) looking at them lovingly and couldn't wait to add them to my growing stash... does that make me strange?

I saw someone do red beads and glass crackle beads on a bracelet. It reminded me of Christmas because the red looked like holly berries.

I love to use Soft Flex colors under clear beads. Can't wait to see your final design. :)
