What Colors = Holiday Festivities?

I was getting out all my green and red beads to create something new to wear for the holidays and realized I don't want to do red and green this year...

I really broke out of the norm last year when I went with white pearls, peridot bicones and Cinnamony CZ's! :)

Actually, I still love that bracelet on memory wire because it goes with anything all year!
I also made this whimsical bracelet last year using softflex holiday colored wire to appease the other part of my personality. I still love both of those bracelets, however...

This year I'm looking for some new color ideas. Maybe I should create a Floridian holiday line!!

I'd love to hear your thoughts or your own experiences breaking out of the typical holiday jewelry box!

OH! I have some CZ's very similar to the rectangle ones at the top, and was wondering what to do with them:) Thanks for the great idea!

have you noticed lately that purple is a big holiday color? I see it everywhere, in ornaments, themed sweaters, decorations - maybe that is a good color to build from

Sweet bracelets. I follow your blog and thank you for sighing on to follow my dialogue. The trouble with me is I haven't decided what I want to be when I grow-up >:) Be Blessed

I like to use jewel tones that are not necessarily red or green. There are some very nice blues and purples that can feel like the holidays when used in the right way.

I'm seeing a lot of black and gold jewelry this holiday season. They are great colors to work with.
