A Twist on Bugle Beads

Bugle beads are so versatile and are used in projects from basic stringing to bead weaving and embroidery. These gunmetal gray "twisted" bugle beads are made of glass, but have a metal feel to them and almost sparkle.

Like liquid silver tubes, these would make a great impact just strung in multiple layers as a necklace or bracelet. I suppose you could throw in a little swarovski sparkle just for fun. Now that would make a great inexpensive gift considering tubes of these beads are just over $2 a piece!

What do you think?
