Today's sweet and fun swirly bead was temporarily strung along with yesterday's adorable glass flower bead. In response to a question on yesterday's post, these beads came from Walmart. The package indicates this is a product by the Cousin Corporation of America. There are 6 flower beads and 6 swirly beads on the strand.
I am looking forward to making these beads into a necklace because I think the yellowy fun along with the summery flower will result in a very cool, laid back necklace.
I'm pretty sure there will also be crystals and possibly even 1 or 2 interesting or unique odd beads just for fun. I have discovered if I'm not having fun, there's no point in doing it!!
We've still got a couple of good summer months left, so it's time to create some mid-summer jewelry.
I also wanted to mention there is a winner for last Wednesday's bead giveaway post!! Yay! I am thrilled to send beads to "Liquidblackout" from Canada!! Once I get her bundle of beads shipped out, I'll post the final package of treats here too just for fun! Thanks to everyone who stopped by and "played"!!
I hope your week has gotten off to a good start!!

Yay! You definitely started my week with a surprise!
I was so disappointed last night when I posted my comment and thought I missed the deadline because my clock is just a few minutes slow.
Thank you so much for this opportunity, gift and excitement :)
Let me know when you're ready and I'll give you my address.
It reminds me of a lollipop! Yellow is not a popular color but I've been told by a 12 year old, it's hot this season!
I agree with Pearl, it does look like a lollipop...but I have faith you will make a wonderful creation with this piece!!!
I've never found yellow to be requested much but this season a gentler yellow, like citrine, or opal has been requested quit often... :0)
Cheers
That bead is just so cheery and bright. It makes me happy just to look at it.
I love your thinking and planning out loud - I can see it being built in my head as you speak.
I can't wait to see it
I love yellow and your yellow beads!!!
I can't wait to see your necklace!!
These are the beads I used in "Daisy Bell". I just couldn't resist them either. Can't wait to see what you do with them!
