Bead Obsessed?

Would you call a person bead obsessed if they buy clearance beads for no good reason except for the fact they are cute and they are less than a dollar?

OR, would you call them smart and frugal? :)

I know you are all my friends and will make me feel good by calling this person (a.k.a. me) very smart for picking up some great bargains!

And for that, I thank you!

This is the last 97 cent strand of beads I purchased last weekend during a sale I didn't know was going on until I walked in the door of Joann Etc.

These are by Blue Moon beads and are SO cute! These larger white beads with the bright and cheerful flower design are probably too big to make a bracelet out of unless you just use one for the focal.

They would make great beads for a necklace and almost seem like they would work great in a red, white and blue piece. Even though we just passed the 4th of July, it would still be fun to make!

Oh yea. Then I am one obsessed beader like you! I have bins and bins of treasures like that. I love that there is potential in these bits. These are cute! I am on the hunt for fun finds this weekend! Enjoy the day!

Ha. It's practically a daily occurrence for me.
On a sadder related note - get Blue Moon beads while you can - I just heard yesterday that they filed for bankruptcy!

Heck, Lisa, I thought that was the only way to buy beads! I love those flowered ones ... and to think they were on sale! You go girl!

I saw those beads! I also got a few .97 cent strands from Joann's! Blue Moon filing bankruptcy explains why Joann's has been having clearance sales on most of their stuff lately. I've been cleaning up!

I am definitely an obsesses beader. I was in Joann's yesterday and had to grab a handful of the 97 cent beads, plus I found a couple of the Blue Moon metal beads for 50 cents,

I'm just as 'bead obsessed' as you are then *L* I have so many beads that I had to buy a little cupboard to keep my little storage bins and bags in...and now I need to build a shelf unit to go above my work space too lol Yes, clearance sales... or just sales... are good for stocking up on beading staples as well as building up a collection of 'special' beads that inspire pieces on their own :)

I think it is alway's wise to purchase sale beads when the opportunity arises. The day will come when that is the exact bead you need!

Boy, I'm sorry to hear about Blue Moon Beads! Hopefully all those beads will find good homes! :)

One can never have too many beads and if they're on sale, all the better.

IMHO red, white and blue are classics together and can be worn year round. :)

Can I join the club girls?... I always do this when I enter in a bead shop and some time find reasons on getting to those shops special to look and get new treasures...so hope you all enjoy as much as I DO to buy bargains or even beautiful special beads only because they are special
