Fabric Covered Buttons!

Okay, just when you thought it couldn't get any better than button jewelry...

I didn't even think about making fabric buttons and using THEM in jewelry! Oh my goodness, the variety of fabric patterns is endless!

I'm thinking sparkly fabric, doggy fabric like this one by Handmade Heyday, fun retro patterns, etc.!!

Thanks Heyday Handmade, LOVE it all!

Cool idea Lisa! You're right there are unlimited possibilities by making your own fabric buttons. My grandma used to make lots of covered buttons for her sewing projects. She would have loved to see her buttons made into jewelry!

I can't wait to get to the fabric store! :) What a great idea if you could find fabric buttons made by moms or grandmas to use in jewelry!

Yes you are right it is not necessary to use fabric covered buttons as jewellery. I also don't like it. I think their best use as an cloth accessories.
