This Week's Project: Party Earrings

It's been a week since the 50th anniversary party for my parents and we've had fun reliving it all week!

I want to encourage people to remember to celebrate the milestones, even those not as extreme as 50 years of marriage!

It's something I think many of us tend to forget and keep waiting for these big events to come up.

I'm now thinking we need to pick something every year to pull people together for...I need to get the wheels turning!

These are the earrings I made for myself after making a pair for my Mom. I'm guessing I did them in less than 5 minutes and didn't really have that time to spare. I love doing things like that because in hindsight I sometimes wonder if I would have put the same things together if I had more time.

These are very simple, but I am really enjoying the color combo!

I hope you are all having a great weekend!!

These are really pretty Lisa! I like the pearl, swarovski combo. Milestones are always important big or small. For my grandparents 50th years ago, we had our whole family get rooms at a lakefront hotel up in the Wisconsin Dells. We all stayed all weekend, grilled out, had smores over the campire, swam and all shared java at sunrise (or there-after in my case. :o)

We're still talking about it many years later as it was so special for my mom and her 7 other siblings and all 30ish of us grandkids (and at the time there were only 3 great-grands born).

Great post dear! It really makes us appreciate what and who are important in our lives!

{Hugs!}
