Shrinky-Dink Surprise!

I found this rubber stamped shrinky-dink a few minutes ago while looking for something in the crafting room. I had completely forgotten about this!

About a year ago, a friend and I experimented with shrinky dinks in a variety of ways.

We used the colored shrink plastic, the printable and the frosted. The most perfect shrink plastic was the white printable sheets.

This was rubber stamped and then colored in, hole punched and baked. It really just needs a coat of mod-podge or varnish of some sort and would make a great bracelet dangle!

A bracelet of very sparkly beads using these same colors would be so fun!

I'd love to find some new ideas for using shrinky dinks in jewelry. Please share links if you have a chance!

Looks like sun in the blue sky! I can see a sparkly summer bracelet.

I vote for all blue in different sizes with that as the focal.

What a great find! I think coating it in some sort of resin would be cool. I wonder...I know that shrink plastic shrinks smaller but would it hold the shape of a mold? Like to make a bezel that you could resin in? I have seen tutorials on using it in rings and bracelets, you have to heat it and form it fast. But bezels...That would be an interesting experiment!
Enjoy the day!
