Have you ever just picked up a bead and been unable to put it down? I mean really been filled with emotions about letting go of it?I've picked up LOTS of beads and put them right down, but I have finally learned how important it is to trust your instincts on what FEELS right when you handle beads. I tried to put this bead down several times, but couldn't!!
I just wanted to pick up one of the others in the same container that was just as cute in color, but had a less interesting shape. For some reason, I just couldn't part with this!
I can't explain it, but I can recognize it!! At some point, I will have the perfect need for this bead and it will be there for me. I can't wait!!
I'd love to hear your experiences with this interesting phenomenon!

It's a rare bead that grabs me that way, but I've been struck like that by certain colorways of silk ribbon, where I keep looking back at them and finally have to take them home because I love them so!

I'm rarely emotional when bead shopping...unless I'm in an actual store...then I'm very emotional and can/do spend hours!!! There is just something about seeing/holding/choosing the beads/stones...
I live three & a half hours from my favorite bead shop so I don't get there often...lucky for me they do sell online.

I have to giggle about this post because I'm emotional about EVERYTHING. My family laughs, my fiance embraces, strangers think I'm a quack. :) Luckily I'm happy in my own skin!
So yes, dear Lisa, I know EXACTLY what you are speaking of. You should see me in the annual area of the garden center... I bet you can imagine!

ROFL! Only every single day of my life!
My friends even made fun of me at the bead show this weekend because I picked up a strand of beads at a booth and actualy gasped OUT LOUD...like REALLY LOUD...because I was so overcome with the pretty.
It was embarrassing.
I would have to say yes to that need to pick up beads and not put them down. I have sat running my fingers through a bowl of beads not wanting to put any of them down!
This is a really uniquely shaped bead. I can totally see why you wouldn't want to put this one down!
Yes I have the same thing happen. I am drawn to the beads, or mebbe the stone itself. I have had some now for four years and just got around to finding the perfect piece to put it in. Who knows why i have to have that certain stone, but i do!!!
