Welcome to the Pepper Patch!

Are these too darn cute or what?! These were in my package from Rings & Things recently and really made me smile!!

I immediately decided I needed to use all of these bright red handmade lampwork glass chilli peppers in one design. I would LOVE to use them all in in a bracelet, but they are probably best suited for a necklace!

The question now is HOW to design it!? I'm thinking 2 strands would be fun, mixed in with either crystals or some bare, colorful softflex wire. OR, some colorful rubber tubing in either red or green or both!

Then you might ask, "where would you wear a necklace like this?" I say, anywhere and everywhere. Definitely to the grocery store! :)

I can't wait to give this a try!

Those peppers certainly made me smile. If you wear them as jewelry, does it mean you're too hot to handle? LOL!

Wow! You are so funny! You really made me LOL! With that comment. Maybe you could make a pendant with the pepper and add a few ceramic or porcelain beads around it. Don't make the whole necklace with peppers. That's my suggestion.

Lisa, I love the peppers! What a fun necklace. As I'm reading your ideas, I'm thinking... "Yes, yes that's it." Then I get to the next one and I think "ohhh, that's better yet!"

I'm sure whatever your final idea is, it will be TOTALLY AWESOME! :o)

Can't wait to see it!

Those are super cute!

I'd use four in a necklace and four in a bracelet and then I'd have two pieces of jewelry to choose from when I went to the grocery store! Sometimes you just don't feel like putting on a necklace, you know?
