"Polished Urban Chic"

Isn't that a great name for this line of Blue Moon Beads?..."Polished Urban Chic"

These beads are from the same line as the "mod" beads from yesterday's post which, by the way, were not wood, but PLASTIC! I didn't realize it myself until I actually looked at the package this evening.

I love the earthiness of real wood beads, but am also intrigued by things with a faux wood grain. They always seem to make me smile.

Today's beads are labeled as, "Metal & Epoxy Connectors". There is definitely a retro vibe to these, but for some reason they feel like a 1980's version of 1960's mod. It must be the bright cobalt blue.

These beads are going to be very fun to use because, as connectors, they have a hole on either end. I keep thinking of using all 4 of them as one long necklace dangle for some reason. The color is very attention getting!

What do you think?

I think I have a brand new spring coat that EXACT color and might need to head to Joann and have a peek!

Paired with some bright yellow beads they'd make a nice choker!

These are very fun. The do remind me of something I would have worn in the '80s!

I love the color depth in these links! I was thinking a necklace would be great with these but the suggestion of long earrings is also great. Would like to see what you end up making with them!
