Creativity Unlimited!

When I saw this glass pendant from Rings & Things, I was really taken by it.

What I need to do now is actually write down all of my ideas for filling this great hinged glass pendant. There are so many possibilities, it is not going to be easy to settle on one of them!

My first thoughts are:
- Add a doggie picture on each side
- Pictures of palm trees and GREEN anything!
- Along the lines of green anything, load it up with actual greenery from nature.

I need to see green so bad that even though I'm allergic to grass, I'd load it up with a handful of beautiful green grass and green crystals inside catching the light (do you think those crazy thoughts come from sun deprivation?)

- Pressed flowers

- Decopauged "canvas" of favorite things

- A giant handful of multicolored crystals

- etc., etc.

What do you think? I'd love to hear your "crazy talk" if you are feeling a little sun deprived too. It's always nice to know you are in good company!

I love these!
I am thinking mini works of art under glass...
Thanks for sharing!
Enjoy the day!

Maybe a beaded something from size 15/0 seedbeads. Or a something made from polymer clay, like a little figurine, talisman or a comic strip character.
To make some beach memories wearable, you could put sand and mini shells inside, that move around inside the pendant.

Keeping with your green grass theme, I could see some Easter grass and tiny eggs/ beads in cheerful colors. (for an Easter themed necklace).
Or tiny watch parts for a Steampunk look.
You are right, it's unlimited...

I would definitely do the pressed flowers bit...That's the first thing that popped into my head was what a wonderful way to carry spring all year long with me!

I would leave it blank so everyone can see their own dream and you can see new dreams come in film

Ooo I know what I would put in these if Dave sent me some... Polymer clay of course! Canes, mini sculpts and lovely blends come to mind! There are so many things that could be made with a little locket like this!
