"Use That Finding!"

These 3 pieces were included in my recent surprise package from Rings & Things. These are all Tim Holtz products and could be used in scrapbooking, bookmaking, cardmaking, miscellaneous crafts or even jewelry!!

The pieces are listed as "corners", "ornate plates" and "game spinners".

I was having a brainstorming session with myself and thought it would be fun to get some additional brainpower involved. An interesting challenge shout-out for ideas that can be used to incorporate these pieces into jewelry. For some reason it brought to mind the old television game show, "Name that Tune".

The concept of the game show was two people listening to musical notes played to see who could recognize the song with the least number of notes played. It typically went like this, contestant 1: I can name that tune in 5 notes....contestant 2: "I can name that tune in 2 notes"....contestant 1: "name that tune!"

So, instead of "name that tune", we have "use that finding!". This is definitely going to be a bit of a challenge. I can easily see how to use the Ornate Plate in a necklace, but the other pieces I'm not sure...

What do you think? Want to take the challenge? Okay, "Use That Finding!".... :)

Now you know that I can find a use in them in doll making. I can see this elf with the name plate as a breast plate with the corner down below it. The spinners would be sticking out of a hate along with feathers.

What about punching a whole in the 2 sides of the corner and using it as a connector. You could put a jump ring on the spinner and add a dangle on it and incorporate it into a necklace. Will be interested to see what you do with them.

Now this is a bit of a challenge...

What about putting holes in all three corners of the triangle...at the top you could use a ring to attach it to "something" and in either corner hang a bead???
Nothing has come to mind for the other pieces yet though...
This will be interesting to see just what you come up with!!!

Cheers
