Since the holiday season is here, I was thinking about giving beads as gifts and remembering some of my faves that have been posted here on A Bead A Day.I didn't want to do a "re-run" episode blog post, but thought it would be fun to pick a handful of beads as though I was shopping, but without the crowds!! :)

My new favorite bead is that blue with the loop (glass), so serene and precious, yet not overly cute. Thank you.
Those blue cubes are great. they remind me of artic ice flows. or if a penguin had a glass of ice water while vacationing in capetown it would look like these cubes. love them!

Well I can't decide, they're all too gorgeous for words. If someone gave me one of each I'd be in Heaven.
From your choice I love the blue glass dangle and the multi-colored crystal/rivoli. I lately received a large order of seedbeads and realized again, how much I am in love with them. My favorite from this order was a hank of clear copperlined seedbeads with square holes which make them sparkle even more.
I think beads are a great gift! I find it a hard item, though, to convince my loved ones of the same! Maybe they just don't trust themselves????? My favorites depend on the day, however, I do tend to tuck in a crystal (even if it's little) in a lot of my pieces. It's like the little mica twinkle that catches the eye in "ordinary" rocks and stones. I'm loving that you've been featuring them! And I LOVE these blues here:)
They are all great...I don't really have one favorite...I LOVE them all. but if I have to choose...I do particularly like the blue cubes and the blue with the loop and... :0)
