I was so surprised to receive a gift in the mail last week from my Dad. How adorable is this?!The pendant is so darn cute and I LOVE the combination of ribbon and cording he used! Aww! I think, for me, what makes the dolphin so adorable is the eye which looks so much like a "googly-eye". As a crafter, I have a soft spot for "googly-eyes!"
AND, the fact it looks like he is jumping out of the water. That is usually when people get to see dolphins...when they are in their natural habitat just doing their happy dolphin thing!
If you have my book, A Bead in Time, you know my husband and I hugged dolphins during a caribbean vacation. They really are sweet looking because of their constant smile and almost dog-like nature.

When I called to thank my Dad for this sweet surprise, he said the pendant reminded him of our dolphin adventure. I LOVE IT!
