Glitter & Beads...a perfect match!

I recently mentioned that I wanted to try to glitter some hemp cord and then use it in a jewelry design. I had hoped to have time to do that last weekend, but it didn't work out that way.

I have high hopes for this weekend!! In the mean time, I came across this photo of some 6/0 e-beads that I used in the 12 bead woven bauble that I covered in mod podge and diamond dust glitter.

I thought these turned out so FUN and I made a bunch of the red bead baubles to hang from simple silver chains and give as gifts.

My favorite part of the red-glittery bauble necklace was the diamond dust residue it left on people's chest who were wearing it. Is that wrong? I don't think so considering all the products that include shimer and glitter. :)

Why not spread a little sparkle? (literally!)
