Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great Saturday with lots of crafting going on!
Today's bead is a combination disco ball and crater-filled silvery moon! This bead would work great if your theme was either the 1970's or the solar system. It is a very cool enamel white/silver bead that I found at Michael's. Lots of ideas are swirling now, I hope you feel the same!
Have a great evening!

Oooo, this is a cool bead! I can imagine this with turquoise or maybe chocolate brown.
Hi Lisa,
I just found your blog and I love it. The beads you have showcased are really unique. What beads and project would you recommend for a beginner? Thanks for the inspiring blog!
Hi Cheryl! Thank you so much for the nice comments. For the beginning beader I usually recommend using memory wire since you only need a wire cutter (or heavy scissor) and a pair of pliers. One size fits all and you can be as conservative or creative as you want to be. You can get memory wire in a package at any craft store and then just pick out a couple packages of beads that you like or that match an outfit. Just use your pliers to make a loop on one end of the wire and start stringing them on. Cut the wire when you get the desired length and make a final loop to hold the beads on. That's it!! I hope you will let me know how it goes or feel free to email me. Thanks!
