But if I forget to put it on, I miss it. Strange, huh? My watches and purses tend to get a lot of hard use, so I usually stick to plain leather bands, and leave my beads to purely decorative uses! Good luck with the decision-making!
Blessings, ShirleyShirleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17422842701701029242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8934854770180589403.post-44509661067460285962010-02-12T07:46:19.255-05:002010-02-12T07:46:19.255-05:00I have two watch faces that I have put off making ...I have two watch faces that I have put off making bands for since I haven't been inspired by any great ideas for them. I am hoping it will arrive in the next day or two.
As for the watch - I always do a double 'simple' strand of beads and a fancy clasp. DON'T use a magnet clasp though - it will stop the watch! Found that out the hard way! I used tubes on my last watch - really liked that one.
Have a great SNOWY day!coolmoonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07581326618275214554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8934854770180589403.post-73228087360243108772010-02-11T08:29:19.506-05:002010-02-11T08:29:19.506-05:00I bought a watch one time that you could switch be...I bought a watch one time that you could switch beaded bands. 6mm beads were strung on stretchy cord and attached to the watch with lobster clasps. The watches and bands were sold separately. I bought one band then made a bunch of my own in all different colors. It was fun to have a sparkly band to go with every outfit. I don't wear a watch anymore though.Be~Jeweled by Janahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05696965027143168603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8934854770180589403.post-2432836747506853012010-02-11T08:19:22.664-05:002010-02-11T08:19:22.664-05:00Oh go for it! I took 5 vintage ladies watches and put them together with large jump rings. In between a put on vintage beads and crystals with head pins. They turn out really fun and you can have one for LA time, New York Time, London time, and your time, ect. They sold really well and were around $120 each. They don't have to work either because it is just fun to wear.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06018107588146841637noreply@blogger.com
